The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College, successfully organized an industrial visit to Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, on 9th October 2026.
The visit provided students with an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to India’s space research and technological advancements. Students gained valuable insights into the activities of ISRO, space technology, satellite systems, launch vehicle development, and various aspects of aerospace engineering.
The interaction and exposure helped students understand the practical applications of concepts learned in the classroom and inspired them to explore emerging technologies and research opportunities in the field of space science and engineering.
The industrial visit was an enriching learning experience, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world engineering applications.
