M.Tech in VLSI Design & Embedded Systems is established in the year 2023 with an intake of 18 students, which is aimed to provide students with a wide variety of opportunities, in industry and in R & D fields.
VLSI Design and Embedded Systems are crucial in modern electronics and technology, and are essential for creating efficient, compact, and intelligent electronic devices that power modern technology and innovation. VLSI integrates multiple functions into a single chip with reduced size and power consumption, enables fast data processing and transmission. Embedded systems process data in real-time, enabling immediate responses. Operate independently, making decisions without human intervention. Enable communication between devices, facilitating IoT (Internet of Things) applications. VLSI design and embedded systems has transformed Consumer electronics, Automotive, Aerospace and Medical devices industries.
