OVERVIEW
The department provides extensive computing resources for research and education. This includes more than 200 high-
performance computers in the range of Linux, Windows, and a good number of laptop systems in 8 laboratories apart
from the special research labs.
In addition to general-purpose file server, the department maintains five specialized servers for database clients;
Linux based workstations. The RYMEC campus network communications include a fiber-optic backbone, offering
10Gbps bandwidth from BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited), and Airtel to provide the internet. The department has
wireless internet connectivity via a campus-wide 802.11b network to the laptops. There is a separate department library
with 800 books, manuals, project reports and lecture CD Rom.

The department has talented students with both technical and soft skill sets. Every semester training will be given to all the student's which includes technical, aptitude, logical reasoning, Group Discussions, soft skills for personal interview.

• RYMEC is an Educational Institution Member with Membership Number – M10206 valid till 28th February 2021.Total 75 students were
  registered in csi students chapter.Various events are conducted in association with CSI & CSE dept.
• The seed for the Computer Society of India (CSI) was first shown in the year 1965 with a handful of IT enthusiasts who were a computer
  user group and felt the need to organize their activities.
• They also wanted to share their knowledge and exchange ideas on what they felt was a fast emerging sector.
• Today the CSI takes pride in being the largest and most professionally managed association of and for IT professionals in India.
